Microsoft Office 2007 contains a file called 'proplus.ww proplsww.cab' that has been problematic for some users. During fresh installations of Microsoft Office. Jun 24, 2017 Hi Yohanes, With regard to your concern, this might be an issue with a corrupt ISO file or corrupt ProPlus.WW propsww2.cab in the ISO file. We can perform some workaround that may help us in resolving your concern.
Finally understood your simple solution. The installer is asking for the Location parent folder for the Folder ' ProPlus.WW' and NOT for the location parent folder to the file ' propsww2.cab' Thanks The_SLX YESSSS! Just use (as an example). C: YourInstallFolder Office 2013 Professional Plus x64 (copy and paste path from Windows Explorer to the text box on the error dialog). Also, if ProPsWW2.cab is actually missing (which, in my case was missing), you will have to get it from the install CD (no, the installation does not copy this file intact; it is a cabinet file and all files are extracted from it during installation).
When trying to install Office 2007 Professional Plus on a Windows XP SP2 machine part way through the install I am receiving an error message saying 'Setup cannot find ProPlus.WW ProPlsWW.cab', it then asks for the location of this file. I can browse the CD and find this file but if selected the install just comes back with 'Invalid Location'. If you ignore the message the install continues for a few minutes then jumps back to the error message. I am installing from a volume licensing disk which I have installed on other machines on this site with no problems so am confident there is no error with the disk. Can anyone help on this, had a search on the web and a few people seem to have had the problem but no real solutions out there. Thanks in advance.
