Windows 7 Loader From Matrix
Will someone at Nokia Development provide some kind of a matrix of Windows 7 compatibility for the most widely used Nokia software? I'd like to be able to plan for my Windows 7 upgrade properly, and it would help out if Nokia can provide information as to what current version of what Nokia software works with Windows 7, what doesn't, which future release is planned, and if each software can run on 64 bit Windows 7 as well.
Currently, the Nokia software I run on my Windows XP are: PC Suite Nokia Software Updater Nokia Maps Updater Nokia Map Loader Nokia Car Kit Software Updater My current plan is to upgrade to Windows 7 64-bit, and I have accounted for every software and driver, and am ready except for the Nokia part of the story. Bush tv monitor drivers for windows 10. Nokia's group of software is the only set that's holding me back. This will be very helpful. Thanks in advance! I'm not so worried about 'if' Nokia will port their software over to Windows 7 compatible space, but 'when,' if ever. But more importantly is the device drivers for 64-bit Windows 7, versus 32-bit.
A compatibility matrix, like all other software and hardware manufacturers are doing, will be nice and handy. No hard work at all. On Windows 7 32bit Home Premium PC Suite installed with no trouble at all. That includes using BlueTooth as the initial form of connection once it was running. Where Nokia are perhaps open to criticism is in failing to point out that their software will run or, should they be concerned about not having updated it for W7, pointing out any limitations. One is tempted to say that with the W7 beta having been around for such a long time both certification and lack of any limitations should have been achieved by the release date.

If you have inlined the source of webcomponent-loader.js, then you should specify window.WebComponents.root as the root from which to load the polyfills.
As I posted in the Ovi section of this forum, Ovisuite 2.0.0.10 works on Win7 x64, but the installation 'experience' is not smoothly. Specially the PC Suite Services driver and the MTP driver have issues. In the end, they work, but it took quite some effort. More worrying is that my 5800 XM experienced for some reason the infamous home screen corruption (no shortcuts anymore, dialer and contacts button fail) after putting some files in mass storage mode on to my phone. No idea where that came from.
Well, well, well. PC Suite 7.1.40.1 just came out. And guess what it supports? Windows 7 32 and 64-bit! =) Nokia Software Updater is still not updated yet.
But I've read somewhere that you can use the current version on Windows 7 by changing the run as mode into Vista. But that was done during the testing phase of Windows 7. Still waiting on Maps Uploader and Car Kit Updater.
