Pacific Breeze is amongst the world's largest MOSS-type LNG carriers INPEX, Japan’s largest oil and gas exploration and production company, has chosen to install ClassNK-NAPA GREEN on two LNG carriers built to service the INPEX-operated Ichthys LNG Project and one LNG carrier for Prelude LNG Project. ClassNK-NAPA GREEN provides continuous real-time data to monitor and improve safety and performance of Oceanic Breeze, Pacific Breeze, and Symphonic Breeze, which are amongst the world’s largest MOSS-type LNG carriers. With the core motivation of accurately verifying the technical performance of these highly complex carriers, INPEX chose ClassNK-NAPA GREEN for the combination of NAPA’s LNG carrier design understanding and market leading performance monitoring software. NAPA Fleet Intelligence is now providing performance analysis & reporting for 80 of MOL's time-chartered bulk carriers.

NAPA Fleet Intelligence, with zero onboard installation, is the first voyage reporting software to use data from noon reports alongside remote analytics. It will allow MOL to identify the causes of increased fuel use and suggest remedies, receive fleet-wide hull performance analysis, voyage-by-voyage performance reports and voyage planning that’s entirely cloud based.

How Internet of Things will Reshape the Maritime Industry The biggest challenges to IoT adoption in maritime industry have been overcome say the panelists from NAPA, Danelec Marine, ClassNK and Inmarsat. The industry stakeholders gathered together in London to discuss the latest IoT trends, technologies, challenges and opportunities for Shipping in a roundtable discussion. Follow the link to WEBINAR recording to hear what our panelists had to say about IoT in Shipping - the benefits, the barriers and how it will transform the industry.
Install sound codecs. It is a powerful tool for preliminary design. NAPA - Naval Architecture Package - is a CAE system designed specifically for preliminary and technical phase of the ship design.
The software is designed to meet the needs of the most demanding of customers. NAPA is one of the most comprehensive systems for ship design. It contains all applications necessary for implementation of a project from its initial objectives through to designing the shape of the hull and its fairing, technical construction design, forecasting performance, calculation of classification to the final release of the documentation. Using the NAPA system it is possible to design any boat or ship. Specially designed system tools allow to efficiently create a model and its further modifications. The model created in NAPA 3D system is used as the primary source of 3D geometry and technical information used in all studies. Since all the calculations and definitions are based on the same model consistency of the project is ensured.
The shape created in the NAPA system works perfectly with the Nupas-Cadmatic Hull system. A direct exchange of information with the Cadmatic system is also possible, and reading of the 3D model from the NAPA steel module. NAPA system is used world-wide by leading shipyards, classification societies, maritime agencies, consulting firms, dry docks, scientific institutes and other organisations operating in the maritime industry.
